UNIFORM BANK - BUY / SWAP
Scout is Thrifty…..
Have you ever wondered what to do with those uniforms that we have outgrown or that were simply left behind when our sons moved on? Well we have decided to create a UNIFORM BANK at Cub Pack 554! The purpose of the UNIFORM BANK is to allow pack members a way to recycle outgrown Scout Uniforms and to make available those items for reuse to our members as they grow.
To create the UNIFORM BANK, please consider donating any outgrown used uniforms that you or your friends may have! Outgrown Uniform Scout shirts (both blue and khaki), pants or shorts (both blue and green), belts, neckerchiefs, hats, and Pack 554 t-shirts are all items we can recycle through the UNIFORM BANK. You may bring them to any Den or Pack Meeting.
Cash donations are welcome as well. Any donation received by the UNIFORM BANK will be used to obtain additional used uniform parts from Thrift stores or eBay.
As we create the UNIFORM BANK, please be aware that initially all uniforms are being accepted as donations. To have a UNIFORM BANK we need to have deposits first through donations. I will then compile a list of items available. Once we have items available then we can start the withdrawal or exchange process.
The way the UNIFORM BANK will work is that you may have any item for free if you donate an item of similarity. If you don’t have something to exchange and need an item, then for a small donation you maybe able to get one from the UNIFORM BANK if your item is available. Below are the cost for each item and the qty we have available.
The popcorn sale is very important to Cub Scout Pack 554's financial stability. The money raised from this event greatly helps offset the cost of almost all the packs activities. It is also used to help with the cost of supplies for den meetings and for activity pins and belt loops. 35% of all the money earned stays directly in the pack. 33% also goes to council to be used for maintenance and up-keep at the three camps that are in our council.
The take order sale starts on September XXth and ends on October XXth 2008. So please send the order forms around the neighborhood, around the work place, around your own house, wherever. There are 8 different items to sell and they are all very good. Your customers will even tell you so. There are also real cool PRIZES that the boys will earn just for selling as little as one item.

* RETAIN ALL EMPTY CASES (BOXES). PACK KEEPS THEM FOR (FOOD FOR SCOUTING CAMPAIGN IN NOV)
* DO NOT BRING OR SELL ANY POPCORN THAT YOU HAVE AT HOME.
